Christmas Happenings

We didn't get to do too much this year because we wanted to keep Maeve at home but here is a bit from our outings!

Look at the train Maeve!
One of our traditions is going to see the Grand Prairie Lights:

Well she inherited my non-photogenicness
Fiona helped me build a gingerbread house! I let her pick where I put the frosting and then she decorated it:

Our one outing was going to downtown Fort Worth to see the new square area. It was all done up for Christmas and Fiona had a blast!

Brunch with Santa!

We were able to have brunch with Santa again this year thanks to the Hulls. Fiona and Maeve wore dresses made by Grammy. Maeve was fine with Santa but Fiona didn't want any part of it! This surprised up since we had been discussing Santa and she had been so excited!

Week 5 and 6

I'm almost caught up! Maeve started feeling better in week 5. I've cut out dairy and soy and it seems to be helping with the colic. We started seeing little smiles pretty much right after we brought her home. Now she is starting to be more intentional with them. They are beyond adorable! I think we have another looker on our hands!

6 weeks and Maeve seems to have grown so much! We are moving into 3 month size clothes already. I'll have her stats for you at her 2 month appointment. She's done so good, the doctor hasn't needed to see us!

I really felt this week she started to really acknowledge us. She smiles so big when Fiona talks to her, turns her head to my voice and coos and talks to Chip like no other!

Maeve LOVES her baths!

Smiles!

My favorite giant smile she does. I just love it!

Wearing my first non onesie outfit!

Turkey Day 2013

So the night before Thanksgiving must have been a bad one because I hardly took any pictures that day! Ugh! Here's what we have. I know there are more somewhere:

Fiona can now roll crescent rolls all by herself!
We had lunch at our house. Because Maeve was only 2 weeks old, my mom decided to keep it simple and came over and cooked for us. The rest of the family joined for desert later. It was such a nice day and so nice to be able to be home. Thanks family!

Nobody wanted to take this picture apparently.

Yay for family!

Life with Maeve Weeks 1-4

Wow I'm behind here! Seeing as I'm writing this when Maeve is 6 weeks. Oops. The first few weeks home with Maeve was tough. She's adorable and snuggly and really refluxy! She had full blown colic there for about a week and sometimes still has "episodes." I've never been so tired in my life!

We are home! Here is your room Maeve!

Bath time takes on a whole new meaning now.

I found my thumb!

First doctor visit!

Can you see my blue eyes? they are just like Fiona's!

What an amazing and hard month that was, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. We are truly blessed!
