10 Months

This month has been a month of changes! Fiona has less of a baby look to her. We stopped breastfeeding completely, which was the hardest thing ever! The stress from the last few months and the 6 teeth (with 7th and 8th just below the gums) were making it difficult. My supply has been down and Fiona has been trying to wean herself. It was becoming more stressful to keep going! She is growing and thriving though and loves to feed herself.

She gets around really well now. She crawls at maximum speed and in a blink of an eye can disappear. She walks all along the furniture now. She loves doors and has been known to crawl into a room and shut the door behind her.

She got two walkers for Christmas and has been using those all over the house. She can even stand on her own now. She will just let go and not even realize she is standing there. I know walking is not far off.

Even though she is advancing, she is very thoughtful and cautious. She likes to think things through before she does them. She says "mama" "dada" and occasionally will wave and say "ba ba". I'm not sure if those qualify as first words but if so, she's been talking for 2 months!

She loves to read books and whispers to herself as if she is reading the book. It's adorable. Ok, enough talk, here's the pics!
